Zinc Chromate

Zinc Chromate is most commonly utilized as coating over aluminum or iron metals so as to improve paint retention & durability of product. It is also added to pigments and is extensively used for chromate conversion coatings. This compound is known to have molecular formula ZnCrO4 with molar mass of 181.403 g/mol. It can be industrially produced by Cronak process under controlled conditions. Zinc Chromate is also considered to be perfect for use in aerospace & automotive industries for enhancing quality of paint coatings. It is also admired for having ability to provide excellent corrosion & rust resistance.
